The accordion in contemporary music
The classical accordion is a very young instrument. During the last 30 years it has become well-established and appreciated in international contemporary music life. Eva Zöllner, an internationally acclaimed soloist of her instrument, will talk about contemporary repertoire and playing techniques and provide information to composers and other musicians about how to work with the instrument. The presentation is part of her project „caja de viento“ which will be followed by a call for new accordion scores and is part of the program of the „Año Dual Alemania-México”
