Composers today reflect what is going on around them. They absorb sounds and put them in new muscial contexts. This program features different compositional approaches that all work in this direction. Young composers from Germany and Mexico combine Eva Zöllners accordion with surroundings from everyday life and create new and exciting sound worlds.

In the second part of the concert Eva will be joined by local musicians for an improvisation set.

caja de viento is a series of workshops and concerts that aims to promote the contemporary accordion in Mexico. It is kindly supported as part of the Dual year Alemania – Mexico and takes place in various Mexican cities between June 2016 and May 2017.
