My solo album “voces, señales” is nominated for the Quarterly Critic’s Choice of Deutsche Schallplattenkritik which I am really happy about. My special thanks goes to sound engineer Claudia Neumann and Deutschlandfunk who helped me to realize these recordings.
2023
For me 2023 was a packed with good projects which felt a bit strange given the actual state of the world. But I did enjoy travels, music, experiments and companionship with wonderful colleagues and here are a few memories. Thanks to everyone involved, it s a real privilege to be able to this for a living.

Colombian music on Deutschlandfunk Radio
In November 2022 I was invited as a soloist to produce a program with Colombian music for Deutschlandfunk´s “Forum neuer Musik” radio festival. I recorded two new pieces commissioned by Deutschlandfunk, “brother” by Natalia Valencia and “signo a cambio” by Daniel Leguizamón, along with older pieces by Carlos Andrés Rico and Jorge Gregorio Garcia Moncada. The broadcast by Hanno Ehrler is still online and can be listened to here. I m very grateful for this opportunity to share the diversity of contemporary music from Colombia with the European audience.
“the Appeal” in Accra, Ghana
I have recently had the honour to be part of a very inspring multimedia project in Accra, Ghana: The appeal by Vietnamese composer LUONG Hue Trinh brought together musicians and dancers from very different backgrounds and ended in a colourful performance at Alliance Francaise in Accra. The trailer will be available shortly. I am very grateful for this opportunity to work with amazing colleagues in Africa and I do particularly thank Ministerium für Familie, Frauen, Kultur und Integration Rheinland-Pflaz for the travel support.
Applications for Zöllner-Roche Composers Lab are open!
We are pleased to launch our first edition of the Zöllner-Roche Composers Lab with kind support of Deutscher Musikrat und NEUSTART KULTUR.
Until June 30 composition students (or composers recently graduated) can submit their applications and we will select 3 of them for commissions. Further guidelines can be found on our duo website
Composing for the Accordion
